Protecting your private information is our priority. This Privacy Policy sets out:

  1. The information we collect about you when you visit our website, use our products or services or otherwise interact with us;
  2. How we use, share, store, secure and dispose the information; and
  3. How you may access and control the information

In this policy, “RecruiterPal” or “we” refers to Hyperscal Solutions Pte Ltd (together with our subsidiaries). Our website, located at www.recruiterpal.com ("Corporate Website"), our mobile application(s) ("Application(s)”), our widgets ("Widgets”) and all other online services of Hyperscal Solutions Pte Ltd are collectively known as "Sites and Services”. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to RecruiterPal include our Site and Services. In this policy, “personal information” refers to any data, information or combination of data and information that is provided by you to us, or through your use of our products or services, that relates to an identifiable individual.

This policy does not apply to practices that RecruiterPal does not own or control, or to individuals that RecruiterPal does not employ or manage. By using RecruiterPal, you agree to the data practices described in this statement and you expressly consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Collection of your Personal Information

We collect your personal information where the law permits us to:

  1. Account and profile information that you provide when you register for an account or sign up for our products or services, for example name, title, email address and company details, which includes data provided in the CV/resume which is uploaded to our Sites and Services (collectively, “Account Data”);
  2. Information you provide through support channels, for example when you report a problem to us or interact with our support team, including any contact information, documentation, or screenshots (collectively, “Support Data”);
  3. Communication, marketing and other preferences that you provide us when you participate in a survey or a questionnaire that we send you (collectively, “Preference Data”);
  4. Details of any transactions, purchases or orders that you’ve made with us (collectively, “Transaction Data”);
  5. Information about your device or connection, for example your internet protocol (IP) address, log-in data, browser type and version, time-zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, and other technology on the devices you use to access our products or services and information we collect through cookies and other data collection technologies; and
  6. Information about your use of or visit to our Sites and Services, for example your clickstream to, through, and from our Sites and Services, products you viewed, used, or searched for, page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks and mouse-overs) or methods to browse away from the page (collectively, “Usage Data”).

We collect the above information when you provide it to us or when you use or visit our Sites and Services. We might collect information about you from other sources, including service providers, partners, and publicly available sources. The information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain and improve the quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of RecruiterPal.

If you have given us consent to use your personal information for a specific purpose, you have the right to withdraw your consent any time, but please note this will not affect any use of your information that has already taken place. You also have the right to request access to the personal information provided to us, as well as the rights to correct and update the personal information. You can also enquire about the retention period and purpose of the personal information provided to us. Please refer to the section on Access,Choice, Correction and/or Withdrawal.

For visitors to or users of our Sites and Services who are located in the European Union, we have set out our legal basis for processing your personal information in the "Legal Basis for Processing" section below.

How we share information we collect

We do not share your personal information with any company outside RecruiterPal for marketing purposes, unless with your express specific consent to do so.

We do not share your personal information with any third party except in the following limited circumstances:

  1. We may share your personal information with our subsidiaries for the purposes stated in this policy;
  2. We may share your personal information with our third-party service providers who provide services such as data analysis, payment processing, information technology and related infrastructure provision, customer service, email delivery, auditing, and other similar services;
  3. We may disclose your personal information to third parties if we are legally required to do so, such as in response to legal process, including subpoenas, court orders or warrants, or to regulatory authorities or law enforcement agencies;
  4. We may share your personal information with third parties in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of our Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by law; and
  5. We may share your personal information with third parties with your consent or at your direction, such as when you choose to share information or publicly post content or a review.
  6. We may share usage data with trusted partners to help perform usage statistical analysis or provide customer support. All such third parties are prohibited from using your Personal Information except to provide these services to RecruiterPal, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality and privacy of your information.

We may also aggregate or de-identify your personal information in such a way as to ensure that you are not identified or identifiable from it. We may use this aggregated or de-identified data to analyze trends, for research and development purposes, and for other business purposes.

If you use any third-party software in connection with our products or services, for example any third-party software that our Platform integrates with, you might give the third-party software provider access to your account and information. Policies and procedures of third-party software providers are not controlled by us and this policy does not cover how your information is collected or used by third-party software providers. We encourage you to review the privacy statements of websites to which you choose to link to RecruiterPal, so that you can understand how those websites collect, use and share your information. We are not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on websites outside of RecruiterPal.

How we use information we collect

We use your personal information where the law permits us to, and where:

  1. It is needed to perform the contract we have entered into (or are about to enter into) with you, including to operate our products or services, to provide customer support and personalised features (e.g. recommendations) and to protect the safety and security of our Sites and Services;
  2. It satisfies a legitimate interest which is not overridden by your fundamental rights or data protection interests, for example for research and development, and in order to protect our legal rights and interests;
  3. You’ve given us consent to do so for a specific purpose, for example we may send you direct marketing materials or publish your information as part of our testimonials or customer stories to promote our products or services with your permission; or
  4. We need to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation.
  5. It is needed to communicate with you in relation to the use of our Sites and Services and to respond to your requests
  6. It is needed to inform you of other products, services or job opportunities available from and through RecruiterPal for candidates seeking employment. RecruiterPal may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services that may be offered.

    RecruiterPal may keep track of the websites and pages our users visit within RecruiterPal, in order to improve your user experience and determine what RecruiterPal services are the most popular.

    RecruiterPal may also ask for your consent to use your personal information for a specific purpose that we communicate to you.

    RecruiterPal will disclose your Personal Information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on RecruiterPal or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of RecruiterPal; and, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of RecruiterPal, or the public.

    Use of cookies

    We use cookies, pixels, and other similar technologies (collectively, “cookies”) to recognize your browser or device, learn more about your interests, provide you with essential features and services, and for additional purposes, including:

    • Recognizing you when you sign in to use our offerings. This allows us to provide you with recommendations, display personalized content, and provide other customized features and services.
    • Keeping track of your specified preferences. This allows us to honor your likes and dislikes, such as your language and configuration preferences.
    • Conducting research and diagnostics to improve our offerings.
    • Preventing fraudulent activity.
    • Improving security.
    • Delivering content, including ads, relevant to your interests.
    • Reporting. This allows us to measure and analyze the performance of our offerings.

    Our cookies allow you to take advantage of some essential and useful features. Blocking some types of cookies may impact your experience of RecruiterPal.

    Approved third parties may also set cookies when you interact with our offerings. These third parties use cookies in the process of delivering content and to perform services on behalf of RecruiterPal.

    We also embed features from third parties on our sites, and those third parties may set cookies if you engage with those features.

    You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. You can manage browser cookies through your browser settings. The 'Help' feature on most browsers will tell you how to remove cookies from your device, prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, how to disable cookies, and when cookies will expire. Check the support site for your browser to understand privacy settings available to you.

    Security of your personal information

    RecruiterPal uses industry-standard technologies when transferring and receiving consumer data exchanged between RecruiterPal and third parties to help ensure its security. RecruiterPal's website has security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of information.

    User data is stored on servers maintained by Amazon Web Services and subject to their security safeguards which are continuously audited, with certifications from accreditation bodies across geographies and verticals.     How we store and secure the information we collect

    We use appropriate technical, organizational and administrative measures to protect any personal information we hold from unauthorized access, misuse, disclosure, alteration, and destruction, taking into account the risks involved in the processing and the nature of the personal information.

    RecruiterPal is located in Singapore, and our affiliated company is located in Indonesia. We generally do not transfer your personal data to countries outside of Singapore. However, depending on the scope of your interactions with us, your personal information may be stored in or accessed from multiple countries. If we do so, we will obtain your consent for the transfer to be made and we will take steps to ensure that your personal data continues to receive a standard of protection that is at least comparable to that provided under the PDPA. Whenever we transfer personal information to other jurisdictions, we will ensure that the information is transferred in accordance with this Privacy Policy and as permitted by applicable data protection laws.

    We have adopted the following measures to protect the security and integrity of your personal information:

    1. Information is encrypted using TLS/SSL technology;
    2. Access to your personal information is restricted to personnel or service providers on a strictly need-to-know basis, who will only process your information on our instructions and who are subject to a duty of confidentiality; and
    3. Our information collection, storage and processing practices are reviewed regularly.

    We have put in place procedures to manage any personal information data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.

    We only retain personal information for so long as it is reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting or reporting requirements. After such time, we will delete or anonymise your information or, if this is not possible, we will securely store your information and isolate it from further use. We periodically review the basis and appropriateness of our data retention policy.

    In the event where we are acting as a Data Intermediary to process personal data on behalf of our clients, we will comply with the client's (Data Controller) instructions with respect to their retention policies. The Data Controller is responsible for determining the retention period of personal data and we must follow these instructions. We will inform the Data Controller if we become aware of any breach or loss of personal data during the retention period as soon as practically possible. We will also inform the Data Controller if there is a need to extend the retention period of personal data beyond the original retention period

    Access, choice, correction and/or withdrawal

    Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:<

    1. Be informed of what we do with your personal information and how long your personal information will be kept by us;
    2. Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
    3. Require us to enable you to correct any inaccuracy or error in the personal information you have provided us;
    4. Request erasure of your personal information (note, however, that we may not always be able to comply with your request of erasure for record keeping purposes, to complete transactions, or to comply with our legal obligations);
    5. Object to or restrict the processing by us of your personal information (including for marketing purposes);
    6. Request to receive some of your personal information in a structured, commonly used, and machine readable format and request that we transfer such information to another party; and
    7. Withdraw or decline your consent at any time and where we rely on legitimate interests, you have the right to object. However, if you withdraw consent, we may not be able to provide the product or service you have requested.

    In the event where we are acting as a Data Intermediary, when you would like to access, update, or correct any personal data that you have submitted through your use of our Sites and Services, we may require additional information from you to verify your identity before we can process your request. Wewill not be responsible for any delays or inability to respond to your request that may result from your failure to provide complete or accurate information.

    In the event where we are acting as a Data Intermediary, when you would like to withdraw your consent for the collection, use, or disclosure of your personal data, we will process the request if you are requesting for it while authenticated as a user. As a security measure, we may need specific information from you to help us confirm your identity when processing your privacy requests or when you exercise your rights. You will be able to click on the action link "Delete my account" after you have logged in and authenticated yourself as a user on RecruiterPal. Please note that withdrawing your consent to process your personal information may affect our ability to provide you with certain services or may result in the termination of our services to you. We will inform you of any consequences of withdrawing your consent for the collection, use, or disclosure of your personal data at the point of receiving your request.

    You may opt out of receiving marketing materials from us by using the unsubscribe link in our communications, by updating your preferences within your account on RecruiterPal, or by contacting us. Please note, however, that even if you opt out of receiving marketing materials from us, you will continue to receive notifications or information from us that are necessary for the use of our products or services.

    Any request in this section will normally be addressed free of charge. However, we may charge a reasonable administration fee if your request to access the personal information may involve substantial effort to perform the request.

    We will respond to all legitimate requests within one (1) month.

    You can change your cookie preferences on RecruiterPal at any time by clicking Cookie Preferences in the footer of the RecruiterPal Site. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. The "Help" feature on most browsers and devices will tell you how to remove cookies from your device, how to prevent your browser or device from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, or how to disable cookies altogether.

    We respect your privacy and give you an opportunity to opt-out of receiving announcements of certain information. Users may opt-out of receiving any or all communications from RecruiterPal by following the "unsubscribe” link on communication received from RecruiterPal or otherwise by contacting us at support@recruiterpal.com.

    Information we retain after your candidate user account is closed

    • If you decide to terminate your agreement and close your RecruiterPal candidate account, we will process your request within one month.
    • After account closure, we may need to keep certain information for an additional period of time for legal and legitimate business purposes. For example, we may retain personal information such as your contact information (e.g., name, email address, physical address) and any invoices that RecruiterPal has sent to you (e.g., record of purchases) for tax and accounting purposes. If applicable, RecruiterPal may also retain records of communications with you, as well as relevant logs (e.g., a log of your account closure) for dispute resolution purposes. We further may keep records for preventing fraud and ensuring security, for example in case of misuse of our services or violation of our terms.

    Accuracy

    We generally rely on personal data provided by you. In order to ensure that your personal data is current, complete and accurate, please update the changes to your personal data by submitting your application on RecruiterPal with the current, complete and accurate information. We will take reasonable steps to ensure that the personal data we collect about you is accurate, complete, not misleading and kept up-to-date, taking into account its intended use. Where possible, we will validate the information provided by you using generally accepted practices and guidelines.

    Policy towards children

    RecruiterPal does not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use RecruiterPal. If a child under 13 submits Personal Information to Company and we learn that the Personal Information is the information of a child under 13, we will attempt to delete the information as soon as possible. If you believe that we might have any Personal Information from a child under 13, please contact us at support@recruiterpal.com.

    Contacts, notices, and revisions

    Our business changes constantly, and our Privacy Policy may also change. You should check our website frequently to see recent changes. You can see the date on which the latest version of this Privacy Policy was posted. Unless stated otherwise, our current Privacy Policy applies to all personal information we have about you and your account. We stand behind the promises we make, however, and will never materially change our policies and practices to make them less protective of personal information collected in the past without informing affected users and giving them a choice. We may amend this policy from time to time by posting the updated policy on our Sites and Services. By continuing to use our Sites and Services after the changes come into effect, you agree to be bound by the revised policy.

    If you interact with RecruiterPal Offerings on behalf of or through your organization, then your personal information may also be subject to your organization’s privacy practices, and you should direct privacy inquiries to your organization.

    International users or individuals in the EEA, UK and Switzerland and legal basis for processing

    RecruiterPal adheres to the set of data protection principles developed by the Privacy Data Protection Commission ("PDPC") in Singapore.

    RecruiterPal acknowledges that the privacy principles in this policy are based on those laid out by PDPC and they dictate RecruiterPal's use and treatment of personal information.

    Personal data (as defined in Directive 95/46/EC or other relevant EU data protection law) that you submit to us may be processed by us in order to provide this Site to you or for such other purposes as set forth in this Policy and the Terms of Use. Your personal data may be transferred to Singapore and other countries outside of the EEA which may offer different levels of protection for personal data than may be available in your country. RecruiterPal ensures that all personal data is handled, processed, transferred and stored in accordance with relevant EU data protection law, and that adequate safeguards and procedures providing protection to Users' personal data are in place. When you submit your application, you agree to RecruiterPal' privacy policy and, in particular, you expressly agree to the transfer of your personal information for the purposes described in that policy.

    Please note that the Personal Information you submit to us may be transferred to Singapore and other countries to be processed by us in order to provide RecruiterPal to you or for such other purposes as set forth in this Privacy Policy. If you are not a resident of Singapore you consent and agree that we may collect, process, use, and store your personal information, as discussed in this Privacy Policy, outside your resident jurisdiction, including in Singapore. Please be aware that Singapore law and laws of other countries where we may store and process your data may offer different levels of protection for personal information than may be available in your country.

    Processor of Personal Information Hyperscal Solutions Pte Ltd is the data processor of personal information collected or processed through the RecruiterPal Offering.

    Processing We process your personal information on one or more of the following legal basis:

    1. as necessary to enter into a contract with you or a legal entity you represent, to perform our contractual obligations, to provide RecruiterPal Offerings, to respond to requests from you, or to provide customer support;
    2. where we have a legitimate interest, as described in this Privacy Policy (see Use of Your Personal Information above);
    3. as necessary to comply with relevant law and legal obligations, including to respond to lawful requests and orders; or
    4. Legitimate interest to recover debts due to us
    5. Legitimate interest to improve our Sites and Services
    6. with your consent, which you may withdraw any time
