Jobs Support Scheme (JSS)

Tiered wages co-funding

  • Co-funding of the first $4,600 of gross monthly wages paid to each local employee for 9 months.
  • Wage support for the month of Apr and May 2020 will be topped-up to 75% for all sectors to support firms during the ‘circuit breaker’ period.

Re-skill & re-deploy workforce

  • PMET at risk of redundancy in vulnerable job roles is retained by existing employers and re-skilled to take on new or redesigned job roles.
  • Up to 90% support of monthly salary and course fees.

  • Funding support level will be raised to 80% from 1 April 2020 to 31 December 2020.

SGUnited Traineeships Programme

Training of fresh graduates

  • Encourage enterprises to continue their digitalization and productivity upgrading efforts.
  • Co-funding of 80% of the training allowance for traineeship opportunities lasting up to 12 months for those who have recently graduated or will soon be graduating in 2019 and 2020.
